Well the online world have been flooded up with the news of Windows 8 and why not          after all we all have got a new Windows. Microsoft this thursday have release its Windows 8 Beta version in the name of consumer Preview.Anyone can download it from Microsoft website. Windows 8 Final version is not yet been scheduled to to lauch but its expected to hitt the stores this october.

1. Start Menu : Now Start Screen.
Earlier version of windows had start menu,now its place have benn taken by start screen,on which there are small tiles which would be shortcut to the applications.this metro interface Microsoft have already shown in its Windows 7 phone. Windows explorer would have a ribbon interface,where all the apps would be stored that windows supports.Windows 8 would be supported on both desktop and tablets.

3.Security : Windows 8 have been developed keeping security issues in mind. Now you dont need to remember tough passwords,for user authentication picture passwords can be used.You can use anyone's picture as password,but password would be Image action based like you can make a circle face,dreaw a straight line.This is Simple and secure.

4.Portability: OS in mobile.
Portable apps are the need of today keeping in mind windows 8 have been developed,you can keep it into your pocket,means you can keep the software into a pendrive and potable hardisk.

5.Performance: Will Never decrease.
When you install and unistall new applications,the performance of OS decreases with time,as programs are removed but certain files even exists.Windows 8 have two options:
i).Reset OS: That would take the OS to its Initial state,data and software will be deleted and you would get a fresh OS .
ii.)Refresh OS : Personal data will be kept up but OS will be installed again.

6.Updates: Days of restarting windows after updates are over.
For updation of Windows,you dont need to restart windows.In one month just once you can restart the windows to update OS.

7.File Mangement : Better management.
The mechanism that was windows using till now for file management was not that efficient.Copying data took time & errors also occured. All these have been Fixed In windows 8.
